Sohaib is an associate at Fineberg Ramamoorthy LLP practicing Intellectual Property (IP)litigation in the pharmaceutical space. He completed an IP articling rotation at a national firm where he was part of a large pharmaceutical patent trial. Before joining the firm, Sohaib completed a brief stint at Health Canada as a Policy Advisor for the COVID-19 Task Force.

Sohaib completed his JD at Dalhousie University. While in law school, he volunteered with Pro Bono Students of Canada at the Immigration Services Association of Nova Scotia and the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. He was also a recipient of the G.O. Forsythe Prize, the Schulich Scholarship, the John L. Harris Memorial Scholarship, and the Donald A. Kerr Memorial Prize.

Sohaib also holds an M.Sc. in Clinical Epidemiology where he focused his thesis on the evaluation of personalized therapeutics for Cystic Fibrosis. As a graduate student, Sohaib received the Alberta Heritage Scholarship and the Douglas R. Wilson Award.
